▪️ Tomikichiro Tokuriki was a woodblock artist born in 1902 and a native of Kyoto. He was deeply involved in woodblock print production and, along with artists like Hiratsuka Unichi and Muneo Saito, he published the print magazine Han and Taishu Hanga in Kyoto. He was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, 4th Class, and the Kyoto City Cultural Merit Award. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 98.▪️ The Ten Bulls is a set of illustrations widely used in Zen Buddhism.
